How do I create dog fence wire that won't correct my dog?

When you install your own dog fence, you'll likely have areas of the yard where you need to run wire that doesn't correct your dog — for example, the wire that connects your transmitter to the outer boundary wire or the wire that connects flowerbeds in the middle of your yard to the rest of your system.

Fortunately, creating this "cancelled" dog fence wire is simple once you know what to do. In fact, you probably have all of the tools you need already sitting in your garage.

In the following video, I demonstrate two different ways to quickly and easily create cancelled dog fence wire. I also discuss the ways you might include this wire in your dog fence configuration.
